Our Mission:

Having evaluated dogs in the USA and Europe for numerous police agencies and families, we are well aware of the types of dogs that some vendors will try to sell to police agencies as police dogs and personal family protection dogs to private individuals. It is our mission at Ruffhaus Kennels to provide top quality police and personal family protection dogs that can actually do the work. The reason we started selling dogs is because of the problems locating top quality dogs on a consistent basis. We do not have 20 or 30 dogs for you to come look at and evaluate, because it is not that easy to come up with 30 dogs that are of the quality for police and family protection work that we want to deal with. There are plenty of dogs working the street right now that are sufficient and can do the work, but we do not want to sell a dog that is sufficient. We want to sell top quality dogs that will excel at police work and Family Protection. The young dogs for sale at Ruffhaus Kennels are hand picked and selected by Kurt and Helen DuMond. The dogs are qualified for training to become police dogs, personal and family protection dogs and for the sport of Schutzhund.
